Our Plans Beyond 'The Alchemist'

It seems an easy job… After all, how difficult can it be to make sure that a servant girl doesn’t marry a prince?
But for the witches Granny Weatherwax, Nanny Ogg and Magrat Garlick, travelling to the distant city of Genua, things are never that simple…
Servant girls have to marry the prince. That’s what life is all about. You can’t fight a Happy Ending.
At least – up until now…

Casting Read - date to be confirmed (potentially Thu 11 July). At the Bullingdon Community Centre

If you're interested in being involved, drop us an email HERE. We'll add you to our 'in the loop' list.

A 'NEWBIE' TIP. A good first start with the STC is to come along and get involved with the group itself, and of course to come to see The Alchemist!

Our plays are cast on the basis of informal readings; there is no formal audition process. We read a section of the text (as in the photo below) and the director casts the play on the basis of that reading, and the information people provide on their 'hint' forms.
